30 weeks down and only 9 more to go! I definitely haven’t been as good about documenting my belly growth this second time around, but take my word for it…I’m big! Baby is moving around a ton and already keeping me up at night too! At least it’s getting me prepared for what’s in store to having two children. I just can’t wait for his/her arrival!!!
Our lovebug is definitely a litte daddy’s girl and I love how they interact together. Her face brightens up when she sees him after a nap, the little giggles that escape her lips when he’s tickling her are so contagious and she follows his every step when he’s home in the evenings and on the weekends.
I just love this little face so much it makes me want to burst! They way her beautiful eyes light up when she smiles or laughs, the sound of her litte feet running through the house (she never walks anymore) and the way her hand pats my own when we’re reading books together. It’s an incredible feeling to be a mother and to love this little person so very much! We still have so much to learn from our little lovebug and so many wonderful things for us to take part in that it overwhelms me in only the best possible way.
I love the holidays, each and every one of them, but one of my favorite times of year is the time between Thanksgiving and New Years. Forget going to the malls, fighting over parking spots, standing in long lines to pay insane amounts of dollars on things, I enjoy all the other stuff. The obscene amount of baking that takes place, the excitement swirling in the minds of little kids and the rememberance of another year coming to an end and the hopes of even better times ahead. I love decorating our home, even moreso this year as our lovebug can “assist,” making homemade goodies for our friends and families and indulging in each moment spent with loved ones during this magical holiday season.
Ahh…sweet, innocent love.
I recently read Twilight for the second time in 6 days and am beyond infatuated. This is almost as bad as when I read Pride and Prejudice for the first time and then saw the BBC adaptation. Or when I was introduced to James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause. Twilight is everything and more in a true love story and one that can be read over and over again without growing old. The movie did not disappoint and I look forward to the release of the DVD, which I am sure to watch and re-watch only a few thousand times.
