I am a stay-at-home mom to an incredible little girl and married to my best friend. This blog is a place for me to post my photography- the good, the bad and the in-between, but hopefully all with mind-set to grow and develop (pun intended).
I have a not-so-secret wish to one day live in Italy with my family and scour the countryside and the coasts for inspiring pictures and live happily ever after.

My family, who hails from the Greek Island of Kephalonia (Cephalonia), settled in a village called Tselentata. Many of the Tselentis who lived there had Italian origins, and to find your website with beaches in Selento really opened my eyes. It’s possible that my family settled in Greece after leaving Selento, but no relatives attest to that, as many of the 1st generation has died. Curiously, what names hail from Selento? Are there any Selentis? Selentas?

I’m not certain of the names in the Salento region of Puglia but I would be willing to look into it for you. My family on my mother’s side are all from Puglia while my father’s side is from Abruzzo.
The Salento area is really incredible…the beaches are immaculate, the farms stretch for miles along the coast and the people are as warm as the weather!
